Hallowed Ground…Week 100 Update

Hello everyone once again! Sorry last week I wasn’t able to write you all, just been really busy the past couple of weeks. But this was a good week. I’ll try and do this weeks justice and share all that I can!
First off, last Monday we were playing football, and me being the usual me, I fell, (again). And kinda bruised up my toe, it looked okay right after the fall, I kept playing, then it wasn’t doing too swell. So, we checked it out at the doctors and they said itisn’t broken, but I pulled a tendon near my big toe. If there’s one way to finish, I guess it’s by really leaving all you can on the court huh? UPDATE: There’s this crazy way of healing people out here in tahiti. They use random plants and coconut oil. So some lady grabbed some leaves, popped some coconut oil and salt on my toe, and it’s healed. Like what the heck that’s awesome.
The following day we had an insanely awesome service project, we dug a hole. Builds character. But the hole was 1 meter by 1 meter and 1.5 meters deep. We dug it to help a family put down there foundation for their home inside of that hole. Honestly, it was fun. Got some blisters on both hands, but totally worth it.
This other miracle we had this past week was the fact that we’ve been trying to go on splits with brothers in the ward, and one of the brothers came with us on thursday, named François, and it was so great! The guy was a champion and biked all around Maraa with us for about 2 hours. It’s so incredible to see how willing these members out here are to work with us!! Following the split with François, we had a sport activity, and me being the dingus I am, I stilled played basketball with my foot being in not so great of shape. The cool part about those ward sport activities is that there are so many people that show up. It’s cool to see everyone together like that!
Then, well on Friday we had a good ole multi zone conference, and for those of you who don’t know what that means, it’s where a bunch of mmissionaries get together to hear some tips and testimonies. For every conference, the missionaries that end bear their testimony. And yes, oddly enough, I’m finishing in two weeks, so they asked me to bear my testimony. It’s weird to realize how long I’ve been out.
After all of that, the next ay we went to the temple! And the temple was full of people this time around. But right before I entered the temple, I saw Anapa from Bora!! And the guy is going through the temple for the very first time on Tuesday!! Tomorrow!! And he wantss me to escort him through!!! That’s going to be so cool. I’ll be sure to send a photo of his family and I next week!
After the temple visit, ballade noa to papenoo, one of my old areas where I served with Elder Drugeon who is finishing today, good time. Such a cool family.
Finally, for the last update (lot’s of stuff happened this week folks.) we had a training session with the stake last night. Held by us the missionaries on how to be efficient member missionaries. We played some Family Feud and I played the role of Steve Harvey, haha it was rad. I had a suit coat and everything. Great moment to see the stake of Paea workin together.
To finish, I’ll be sure to write you all next week, it’ll be my last time I believe, so if you guys need anything from out here, y’all better let me know!
Now if this is boasting, even so will I boast; for this is my life and my light, my joy and my salvation, and my redemption from everlasting wo. Yea, blessed is the name of my God, who has been mindful of this people, who are a branch of the tree of Israel, and has been lost from its body in a strange land; yea, I say, blessed be the name of my God, who has been mindful of us, wanderers in a strange land.

Ma ta’u here
